DJ recommendations please....

I only have one appointment made so far, but I wanted to get some recommended DJ's from you guys before I go to the vendor list. My only request is that they have an intelligent light show. I really like those. If you can FM me a guesstimate, I'd appreciate that too!!

Re: DJ recommendations please....

I think I might feel funny going back to silverfox. I inquired about their photography and decided against using them. Wouldnt it be akward going back and inquiring about using them for DJ'ing?

I have heard great things about Music by Michael. I am going to try to meet with him next week or so. Wendypoo used him and she told me he was great. M&M2004 also thought he was wonderful. He also has intelligent lighting.

I did the same thing!! I felt so weird going back since I didnt go with silverfox.. but I really liked starlight!!! - They were REALLY professional about it.. they asked me who I was there to see and paul from starlight came and got us and walked us to the back - on the way out we bumped into the owner of silverfox and he smiled and waived. No one said a thing.

Apple Entertainment. They are great. Our family has used them for many parties and they did an awesome job with my wedding.

Re: DJ recommendations please....

I would recommend Ralph from Hi-Energy who is a vendor on here, he has his prices on his website. We use him for all our family parties and he is great.

Re: DJ recommendations please....

Musci By Michael....awesome prices, and he is so organized, polite, and has intelligent lighting. He has an online site where you type in your wedding date and password and can create your own Playlists...including a DO NOT PLAY list.....as well as search for songs and links to hear the songs....
We just 'clicked' with him.....

Edited to add: he is also a PC DJ...all his music is on a computer (he brings 3 forms of backup in case the puter fails, including the actual discs) and can do all kinds of cool things with the songs, even take out words to a song if you want to use it for your intro....
