So, this is not a full wedding review, but I just had to write this and get this out to complain!!!! Now, aside from the music, everything else was amazing and perfect....Definitely book with Fox Hollow, they are so amazing, professional, and really like family....Okay so on to my complaint with my DJ....Me and my husband have met up with the owner of GNA Entertainment a couple times, discussed music and just the whole schedule the day of the wedding...Everything was discussed, reviewed, and understood. Glen, the owner, and MC was supposed to do my wedding on Friday April 11th....I luckily texted him wondering if he can play this other song, to which he replied, I will be unable to do your wedding but I had discussed everything with the new MC and reassured me that everything will go just as we had planned and discussed. Well, as you can tell by my rant it had not, from the moment I met with the MC he asked if it was absolutely necessary to play two of the dance songs I wanted, to which he made me feel, I was stupid for wanting them, and that I had to pick one over the other...Another thing with the MC, my mother had asked him politely, because she was concerned, if he could not have the music be so loud during dinner time, so everyone can eat. To which he replied, that the music was going to be so loud the walls were going to bleed. Totally uncalled for and unprofessional. Lastly, of all the big complaints I have with GNA Entertainment, the MC once again comes over to me asking if I was sure I didn't want to play a game to give away my centerpieces...I said no, because I felt it would disrupt the flow of my wedding, to which he was like 'what do you mean???!!???No, it wont...'He was so confrontational, that I just gave in because I didn't want to spend the rest of my night in an argument with this guy, explaining my reasons...Now, onto the DJ, it wasn't too big of a deal, but he didn't play the songs we wanted, instead it was typical wedding songs like I got a feeling and party rock which are so overplayed....And not many of the songs me and my husband spent long hours creating a list of!!! So, there is my rant...I would highly not suggest going with GNA Entertainment, for they are highly unprofessional and will ruin your big day!!!!

Sorry you had a poor and confrontational experience. However, it sounds like you really handled it well, took it in stride, and didn't let it ruin your whole night. Good for you for being the bigger person when having to deal with a d-bag that was thrust upon you at the last minute. I'm glad to hear everything else went well. And bottom line....you got married surrounded by friends and family, which is what counts!

Yes, I definitely didn't want it to affect the rest of my wedding, so I waited a week before I made a review because I didn't want to be rash with it!!! :) But I definitely loved my wedding aside from the music :)

That's awful. I would send a formal letter of compliant to the owner AND make sure you review them not only here but on Wedding Wire, the Knot and Yelp. No one should have to go through that!

So, I have tried writing reviews on all of those sites, and unfortunately because it is a relatively new company, they don't even have this DJ listed to write a review

I would write a formal complaint too. And if the owner was on your contract to be there that day and then wasn't I would also file a complaint with the better business bureau. I am happy overall you had a beautiful day! ?

I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. I commend you on taking it so well, though! I agree with all the other ladies who said complain, especially to the owner.

How upsetting! I would make sure you call and complain to company and also write a letter so it is known.
