I was on a role for awhile...and then I slowed down...but with the babys arrival getting even closer I realize I need to get this done...
I have a few Djs in mind that Im going to meet with...however have no idea what to compare them too..
what are round about prices..for 5hrs... Dj and MC... and some extras like: the dancing on the cloud, and a few givewawys..
Thanks!

Re: DJ shopping
hello. my quote from get in tune was $1395 for dj and mc for 5 1/2 hours (ceromony, ch, reception) on a fri night. it includes intelligent lights and he threw in medium give aways. we also got a quote for the same package from sensational sounds for $1195, but we went with get in tune. good luck ~lacey

Re: DJ shopping
Vinny from high voltage. He starts his packages at 600. That is just for him and an assitant. Very basic, but all that is needed. then you can get light show and MC and give aways and all that stuff. All still very reasonable. I have heard nothing but great reviews about him. FH and I booked him for our wedding. He is a vendor on this site if u want to check him out. hope this helps

Re: DJ shopping
I have a great DJ that I used at my wedding They were great Everyone danced all night long. I loved working with Rocky I did drive him crazy Let me know if you need his information He is from New York Entertainment
as well as Castle Entertainment...and Tommy Tunes...
But its hard to compare and contrast those first few you meet with ya know?

Re: DJ shopping
We used Absolute Entertainment. They were great. We had Carl play aoustic guitar during our CH (it was like a happy hour - everyone loved it) and then he became our DJ for the night, and Paul was out MC for the night. I can not say enough great things about them.
We paid about $1400.
