DJ suggestions needed

I have my wedding in March 2010, and I am looking for a DJ. We are having a cocktail reception (essentially, a 4 hr spread out buffet), but we really want the laid-back cocktail atmosphere....mellow, just background music, someone to MC our dance, mother/son, father/daughter...Frank Sinatra-esque type music.

We definitely don't want an 'involved' or party type DJ. We just really need someone to run the sound system, get on the mike a few times and just keep it moving.

Any suggestions? And for a reasonable price!!!

We had a buffet for our reception too! I loved it because it gave everyone the opportunity to eat as much as they wanted and try all the amazing food at our RH!

I wanted a DJ that would play the songs I wanted and not be LOUD (my dad has hearing aids and my step-mom is deaf in one ear) -- I definitely did not want a DJ who kept asking people to 'get up and dance' because that's not our crowd and wasn't the feeling we wanted for our wedding! We did still have people dancing and we had all the traditional dances, and it was really wonderful.

We used Variety DJ -- Ray was our MC and he was wonderful. Great voice, not intrusive, and they played everything I asked for. I actually wish I'd gotten a copy of our CH CD because it was literally every song that we love!

Let me know if you need any more info. Their price was also very good.
