i was wondering how much to tip our dj at the engagement party. my FH says nothing since he's the owner but i feel like thats kinda rude... is $50 ok? too much? too little??

I think you should tip even if he's the owner. I was going to tip my dj $100.00 for the wedding (he's owner) and his asst. $50.00, so $50.00 is ok...

depending on how good of a job he does between $50 and $75 is good.

It depends. Is it JUST him or are there other people with him?
If it's JUST him then i'd say $50/$75 is ok. If there are other people with him I would increase it $20 p/person.
