Has anyone used a DJ but added some type of live music as well, maybe a vocalist or saxophone? How does this work? I am so confused as to what I want as far as music. I only know that I do not want alot of lights, giveaways, etc. Any recommendations or advice? Thanks!

Re: DJ/band combo??
we are having both a dj and a band - supposedly they do this all the time - the band plays awhile, then the dj, etc. - and you can tell them which songs you want which to play. I'll let you know how it turns out!

Re: DJ/band combo??
They used Part Hearty - but a most DJ's get that - put a posting on the Vendors area and see what you get - I did get a quote from a vendor here (maybe Dr. Dance??) was $3100-3300 for DJ, singer, conga and Kenny G person which is what I would like...
But I did get some CD's from entertainment cos. who have that exact same thing + one has male/female singer w/ keyboards and computer makes the rest of the music...
