DJ/band recommendations -not too loud and not too expensive?

Hi, all,

I'm looking for recommendations for a DJ (or band, if not too expensive) that's not as loud as the usual ones -- we're looking for a variety of music, but we don't want it so loud that you have to shout to heard, etc. The average DJ seems to be extremely loud -- so wondering if anyone has experience with more moderate sound DJs. Also one that's moderately priced would be amazing.

bands start around $5000

i'm using code bleu and they were $6600

We are using timepiece from Franklin Wayne. They were great and not that expensive.

FM Entertainment! (They're a DJ company)

We wanted a few things: an eclectic mix of music, people on the dance floor in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, and music that wasn't insanely loud so anyone that wasn't dancing could still mingle and talk. Man, they delivered! Very affordable, so easy to work with. We had Frank as our DJ and MC. I cannot recommend them enough - they really made our day 'OUR DAY'. (We're music freaks, so having certain songs played and certain songs NOT played were a very big deal to us)

we're using a DJ .. then til now.. so far, they've been fantastic to work with... they were with in my very limited budget... given the recommendations I was given.. I'd definately say check them out.

East Coast Band!!! They will work with you on your budget and can take away pieces to save money...that's what we did
