Our DJ I think is around 1300, hes fantastic!!!! He is in NJ, but commutes no problem, he did a wonderful job at our weddiing and at others that Ive been too! FM me if you are interested!

We had a local (Nassau) DJ that everyone swears by. DJ James (Jimmy) McGuire. We've heard from over 10 people that he's fantastic & will play whatever we want. He was PERFECT!!! His # is 516-891-1800 or you can e-mail him @ [email protected]

We are using starlight express. They are awsome from the events I have seen them at but they can be a little pricey. I guess it depends what your getting b/c we added alot of extras!

Oh and at High Voltage the price is $650 for most basic package (reception 4 hours DJ no MC) We are paying 800, includes reception, cocktail hour, and ceremony no prizes or MC.

We're also using Starlight Express. They came highly recommended and didn't seem to be the stereotypical 'cheesy' DJ which is what we wanted to avoid--we're not doing giveaways, light shows, or anything like that . For a DJ&MC for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, we're paying about $1800. Hope this helps!

Definitely check outDash of Class . They are absolutely fantastic and amazing at what they do. They don't have any package deals so you just tell them what you want and they will work with you.

thanks guys!!! i will def check out high voltage...they were more around what i was hoping for...
i feel bad saying the person's name here because i know other vendor's look here. he was recommended by our reception hall, but he just seemed so unprofessional about everything that i said forget it. most vendors go out of their way for YOU, i found myself always chasing this guy. i asked him if he was going to be around so we could meet because we were still interested in booking and he replied in his email 'yes i will be. thanks.'
