i just used in the mix and they were great. their dj and mc were really good and they played all my silly requests. they did a lifetime montage and my guests are still telling my mother about how great it was, and they were affordable, too!

lynda, in the mix is in garden city, but i think they have other offices, i'm not surewhere though. i paid something like 1350 for a dj, mc and a montage (ask about it ,really cool) and the guys are great too. tell them lisa from sept 10th sent you, their number is 516 739-2977

I think it varies, depending on the company, but I do recall seeing some that offered you one or the other.

We're using Parameters. We too looked into Spin Around Sound based on all the hype on this board, but decided against them.
Parameters doesn't do the frills or 'cookie-cutter' stuff many of the djs do. Eddie Terryn is very keen to what music is good dancing music, and will make you aware of what might not be so good, although he is willing to play anything you want. He has great ideas and years of experience spinning music. He's got us totally excited about our night!
