DJ's

I need help with picking a DJ. I want one that is really good and will play a variety of music. Has anyone ever used the following 2 DJ's.

Body Rock Entertainment
Tommy Tunes DJ Entertainment

Feedback on these would be great.
Or if you know of great DJ's that I should check, please let me know. I feel that the music is one of the most important things. I could really use the help! Thanks.

We used Tommys Tunes for our wedding...my cousin used them a few years ago and they were awesome at her wedding so we booked them w/out even talking to anyone else and it was one of the best decisions we made...i swear, people are still talking about how great they were

Same here. I got tons of compliments on my DJ, Tommys Tunes. Everyone loved our MC and the mix of music they played. Ask for Joe E. if he's available.

Honestly, I checked into Body Rock, and I was not crazy about them. They would not budge on the price at all. Therefore, I ended up going with Starlight Express.

You absolutely need to check out Long Island Sound - I highly recommend them - we had DJ Chris and MC Sal and Howie Bongo the live percussionist. We were ao happy with them. The rocked all night long. The actually had to tell people to get off of the dance floor to go and eat. People are still talking about them. Definitely worth checking out.

I really liked the guy at Tommy's Tunes but well, how do I put this nicely....They were a little guido for me. I don't mean that fresh really it's just that they were talking about dancing in fog and flames hanging from chains and all kinds of weird stuff. They were also more expensive than anyone else we went to. I'm using Absolute Entertainment. They were equally as nice but without that flames hanging from chains crap.

I met witj Tommy Tunes are they were really nice and affordable but we didnt go with them. I wasnt to keen on the fact they kept pushing the fact they did Jamie Lynn Siglers wedding, like it was the only wedding they did of note.

I went with Then Til Now. Steve is great and is really affordable. FM me for info But I think its www.thentilnow.com

I love them and highly recommend them. I have no worries about them for the day of my wedding. I think they will be amazing.

I have only heard great things about them.

You can do a few searches on here about them and see what brides who have alredy used them have to say.

If you decide to go meet with them, make sure you meet with Vinny. He is the owner and is so pleasant.

We had Tommy's Tunes. Frankie was our MC and Michael was the DJ. I was in there office 3 times and they never mentioned the Jamie Lynn wedding to us. I did see pics but that was it. They followed my must play and do not play list perfectly. The were organized, on time, in fact early and had the dance floor packed all night long. So many guests raved about them at and after our wedding. You wont know who you will click with until you actually meet the DJ yourself. Everyone has different opinons and likes and dislikes.

I have had Tommy Tunes at all our family events and they have always been wonderful!!! I would not have gone with anyone else!!

You should give Vinny of High Voltage a call. He is amazing with details. He is a vendor on LI Weddings, and has great reviews. I think its worth the time to meet with him. He is very honest, he is not into making you pay for anything he fells you really don't need.
