DJs

I am getting married in 2004 and I am currently looking for a good DJ. A dj is one of the most important parts of the wedding to me, so I want to find a good one! I have been looking into spin around sound, they sent me copies of references along with a package of information. Has anybody been to a party of theirs and if so, how was it? Does anybody have any advice?

We went with a DJ that was not a house vendor, he was highly recommended by another bride on this board. He does great work, we went to go see him and also called his referneces.

I felt the same way you did regarding entertainment. I met with Tom from Spin Around Sound and then saw about 20 other dj's. I liked a lot, Get In Tune, to mention one. In the end, I went back to Tom and SAS, just booked them for my Oct. wedding! I'm thrilled!!!! I have not heard sas play at a wedding, but do have the utmost confidence in them. Hope that helps a little bit.

We had SAS @ our October wedding, they are great. Truly a class act. You should do a search of the boards for their name, you'll get lots of opinions on previous posts. There have been many.

I am actually using a DJ that was recommended by my friend. Actually, ChippaTriD was going to use him too (since he knows her mother very well) but she couldn't because her & I are getting married on the same day. If you want information about Let Us Entertain You just send me a forum e-mail.

I had an amazing DJ (Chris) and MC (Mark, they were great. They had everybody up and dancing throught the whole reception. I highly recommend them. They also did my friends wedding which was also amazing.

I booked SAS too. Tom has been great with everything so far and I have confidence in him for my wedding. Many brides on here have used them and I have heard nothing but glowing reviews. Definitely meet with him!

I met with tom from spin around sound and really liked him, but I wanted a photo montage also, and theirs was really expensive, also, they are a big company and were already booked for my date - so I would have had to have someone other than tom. I went with music by michael, he was so professional and passionate about what he does, it was great. No cheese at all. forum mail me if you'd like more info!
