Doea anyone know of any good reputable and non-cheesy Dj's for a wedding? I have been to see a bunch but I'm really not sure. they also keep getting mixed rating. Anyone know about L.I. Sound, Dr. Beat, Xtreme Sound, MRG, or NY Party Time? Thanks

Re: DJ's
We booked MRG. Saw LI Sound at an expo recently and they were good. Not sure about the others on your list. Good Luck!

What made you book with MRG? Who else did you see or not like? Just Curious. Thanks.

I second Tommy's Tunes! Soooo professional i.e. non-cheesy. Me and FH made an appointment directly with Tommy - he's so personable and friendly and you can tell he cares so much about his business which translates onto you; you know you will get a refelection of quality. I met with LI sound and i've heard mixed reviews depending on who you meet with. The guy we met with was non-flexible & it felt like it was stricly a business transaction so we were really truned off and walked away with a sour taste. I also met with 3 other DJ companies. FM if you want more info =) Happy to help.

Also agree (minus the rip-off part - it honestly all depends on your interaction and with whom you meet - I met with a couple vendors who other brides quoted money wise and it was completley different for me and FH) ... definatley be conscious of what you're spending for what you're getting... Anywaze ~ I also spoke with Kevin from Baratinni productions and he was super accomodating and willing to work with your budget and specific needs. It honestly feels like you're booking with a friend. It was a tough decision but worth checking out.
