So after being bombarded with too many options at the bridal extravaganza, I am unsure which companies I should be looking at for DJ's. My friend who is getting married next year recommended absolute entertainment, but I hear very little about them on the forums. She disliked LI sound due to supposedly obnoxious mc's who 'yo yo yo' too much and get in peoples faces as far as getting them to dance. It seems that others have had good experiences with them.
I have looked at the following DJ's websites: Bravura LI sound Absolute
What are your experiences with these companies, who else are you using and was is the pricing like? I liked the idea of the DJ booth changing color in order to mask itself from being a sore thumb in the room. Not sure which companies do that...

we spoke to Bravura at the showcase for our RH a bit less than a month ago. Very nice and professional team they're on the higher end of pricing as far as DJ's go, however.
I haven't heard much or have personal experience as far and the other two companies mentioned. I'll suggest checking out Variety DJ. We saw them at a live showcase. Ray sounds PHENOMENAL, imo just what you expect to hear an MC to sound like, if you know what I mean. They had all of us very engaged too.. best of luck!

i used Variety at my wedding and they were, without a doubt, my favorite vendor of the night. they did a great job ... best part is that they gave me a great deal on everything!

I met with LI Sounds. He sat us down and showed us the showroom and it was pretty cool all the stuff they offered. He quoted us about 2k more though than our DJ now though so needless to say we booked Xtreme Sounds. LI Sound guy was also a little pushy trying to get us to sign a contract the night we met him and when I told him I had other DJ's to look at he said that no one else would have anything have have lol.

Your friend doesnt know what she is talking about LI Sound was my DJ at my wedding. I had Chris as my MC and there was not one YO YO YO at my wedding EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE said they were the best wedding DJ/MC they have seen in a long time. They played a great mix of music. They were highly professional. They were a little bit more then one other DJ we saw but they were the only DJ to show us their equipment which is top notch. I do not regret for one second booking with them.

xtreme sounds has light up booth and great reviews I have been to a few weddings with them I think they are great

THIS!! I'm using Scott as my MC for my wedding and he is so well spoken. I have heard nothing but positive things from all my friends about LI Sound.
