DJ's under $1000

I'm starting my search for DJ. Here are my criteria - Any suggestions on whom I should contact?

* Under $1000
* DJ only - no MC's, dancers, props, lights, etc.
* Non obtrusive - makes a few announcements but generally just plays music
* Works in Brooklyn

Thanks for your help!

I think Vinny from high Voltage Sounds will go to Brooklyn. I am paying 600 for 4 hours of music - no frills. He is a vendor on here, check it out.

I am using Absolute Entertainment and heard great reviews...I am paying $1,250

Oh, I also get an MC, a DJ and cocktail hour included.
