I am sure it says it 100 times on this website....I Just wanted to let you know for sure you do need the original.

I yell back, sorry you had trouble. I had issues when I went to transfer my NC to NY license....b/c I didn't have enough 'proofs of ID'....i had EVERYTHING but a passport and the guy wasn't satisfied!!!
