know each other outside of LIW? Sometimes, when I read posts, it seems that way. I'm not from Long Island so I don't know if people are just friendly from posts or what. Just curious!

I don't know anyone either. I think after being on here for a while you probably just become friends even if you don't know eachother in person. Everyone is also so helpful

theyve had a few get togethers, and the 09 shower... many of them are friends outside of LIW...
it's a great thing.. .when I was engaged I went to one of the get togethers, and i had a blast. these girls are great. :)

i met one girl i graduated high school with, one girl i graduated college with (maggie) and one girl that is marrying my FH's good friend ... sooo i guess so but most girls are just friendly

after being on this site for a while u do start to get to know everyone even if its just via on-line. im from queens but have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the LIW girls either at gtg's or the 2009 bridal shower.

I do know Kerry from school lol. I feel like I'm on all the time too... But I guess I'm not because I have only 126 posts. I only go on after work because I'm a teacher. Guess thats why I don't have so many lol. I never know about the get togethers?

There have been a number of g2g's and the girls become friends outside of LIW. I met many of the girls at the LIW shower but, unfortunately, I haven't been to any other g2g's.
