Do any plus size brides have any suggestions on where to get your dress?
I am really nervous about going and I have been putting it off! I need to go and I want to go somewhere they have a selaction of plus size gowns . I alsi would like it if the people were kind and helpful!

I went to Paradise Bridals in Patchogue. They were wonderful. They had a great selection of plus size gowns. Cherise helped me and she made sure that I found a gown that fit my body type. There are pics in my album if you want to look.
I also went to Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook, but they had about 3 plus size dresses.

Davids Bridal... you can check online... they have most of their dresses in plus sizes!!!

I went to Davids Bridal RK Bridal Kleinfelds Macys
They all have dresses that fit me but Im still looking for 'The One'

Davids Bridal has most dresses going up to a 26 (including the bridesmaid dresses)
and some dresses go bigger.

Davids Bridal carries up to size 20/22. I got my gown from there and it fit perfectly.

I've commented on this before - I had the same misconception that it would be impossible for me to find any dress to fit me, let alone one that I'd like. Every single salon I went to, however, had a huge selection of dresses for me to try on. It's really not a problem at all, so don't stress. You will not have any problems finding dresses to try on.
I got my dress from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa.

I got my dress at Paradise Bridals. They had a big selection of plus size dresses. I have worked with so many wondeful women there.

when i went dress hunting i called stores ahead of time to see if they had plus sizes ... one store said they did but did NOT and tried to squeeze me into size 10s and 12s (it happened to be the very first store i went to and my mom traveled to come with me ... i was a crying mess because these people said they had plus sizes but did NOT and i couldn't even try on dresses :( ) buttttt other stores i went to did have a wide selection of dresses and very NICE staff (who didn't look you up and down as soon as you came into their store) including:
princess bridal, wedding center in commack, bridal reflections carle place/massapequa, village bridal, and of course last but not least <3 lillette's
i'd go to kleinfeld's too from watching yes to the dress... they seem to have a lot of plus size samples there
