Do dresses usually come in early ? Any Lillette's brides have this experience?
I just called Lilette's to confirm something, and asked when my dress would come in. I ordered it the beginning of July. She said it would come in April (2 months before the wedding). Do dresses usually come in earlier from what the bridal shop says? Also, is 2 months before the wedding a little tight?

Lilette's did the same thing to my friend. According to Lilette's, her BM's dresses were only scheduled to come in 2 months before the wedding. My friend kept calling and calling. They did come in before the 2 months, so I think maybe they just tell the brides this.

My BMs dresses were supposed to come in 2 months before as well, which would put it at August 29. They have been in for over 2 weeks now, and the only reason we found out was because my MOH was there and inquired.
Then they sent some of my BMs a postcard with an appointment already set! A little strange, but at least they were in early.

I didn't order my dress my Lillette's. But my dress came in two weeks before it was due. And it came it about 3 months before the wedding. Two months should be plenty of time to handle your alterations.

That's good to hear! Maybe they already had the appointment set because your MOH made it while she was there. That's the only reason I could think of as to why they would have it set.

My MOH didn't even make an appointment! She wanted to wait to speak to me first, and she didn't get the appointment card, 2 of my BMs did! Strange
they will let you change it if you want.....

I AM A LILLETTES BRIDE!!!!!!!
They can come in early....You should just make an appt. no longer than 2 months out from your wedding...b/c if you lose or gain weight then there is a problem.
One bit of advice....I ordered my gown in January '05 and I went for my first fitting beginning of July I even called to confirm my appt. when I went there and they called me into the dressing room...they ordered the WRONG dress. I couldn't believe it. Even when I called to confirm you think they would of checked the dress...anyway, they took care of the problem and my dress was there in a week.
