Oh yes, they certainly do.

My centerpieces lasted well over a week and still looked amazing. So did the bo-ks

My bouquet was dead in the car on the way to the reception.

Re: do flowers really last all day?!

Mine did and my bo-k even still looked nice the next day.

My centerpieces are still in my MIL's house. They are going strong except for some browning but it has been over 2 weeks so I am impressed by that.

Re: do flowers really last all day?!

The only thing my florist has told me is that it is a good idea to plan for extra bout's -- they often will not last a whole day with pics, especially more fragile flowers. Many florists will throw these in with negotiating but you might consider asking for a few. CP's and Bouquets, if done properly, should be vibrant andd fresh for the whole affair.

Re: do flowers really last all day?!

If you are worried about your bo-kay and BM's bo-kays you can request a hydration wrap around them, especially if you are a summer bride with delicate flowers.

Re: do flowers really last all day?!

depends on the flowers and time of year. My friend had hydrangias in late June. They were wilting during the ceremony.

Re: do flowers really last all day?!

it really depends on the flowers and the time of year it is - more delicate flowers like orchids and hydrangia often wont last the whole day
while more hardy ones like mums and daisys will last for many days
individually water tubing them can help - but if it is really hot or really cold most delicate flowers have little or no chance

Since I intensely loathe my florist, I would like to blame it on him. But he did warn me that since I wanted the leaves taken off the flowers in the bouquet, the flowers would die sooner.

I know that the centerpieces looked great for days after, since that is when they bloomed. Would have been nice to have open flowers on the actual day of the wedding, but I guess that was asking too much.
