My shower? For holding the shower & putting it together should I get them a gift? Like a thank you?

I don't think so. I think you should give them something really nice that they'll like before the wedding to show your appreciation for being your BM, but other than that, I don't think you need to get them anything extra.

IMO, I wouldn't think it's necessary. I did see a small gift once that a bride gave her BM as a shower gift-shower gel and a mesh sponge with a little card that said 'I hope all your showers are as nice as the one you gave me' (or something to that effect). I thought that was really nice.

I would just send a nice Thank you card to each one of them. Send something different and not the thank you's you are using for the other guests.
I did this and it went a long way!!!!

no, not at all! Just send them each a nice normal sized thank you card after the shower when you are writing your thank yous.

I would just send thank yous, and take the time to write them yourself and express your gratitude, how impt they are to you, etc.

yes, every shower ive ever been to- the entire BP received gifts... I dont know if the bride takes care of this or the mom?? My mom asked me about this a whiile ago but i never decided.. I should probably start lookin!!!

My mom wanted to be old school Italian and was going to get them the Armani statues but I refused to let her do it so instead she got them all Silver (non tarnishing) waterford frames that were gorgeous!

I dont think so. I didn't. I just sent them the normal thank you card the present. They all did stay at my house that weekend and we hung out and were girlie. It was fun, but didn't do a gift for them.

i dont think so! A nice heartfelt thank you is more then enough! Only person I did give a gift too was my MOH. I got her something off her own registry as a thank you!
I wanted to do the same thing but with the wedding so close it just wasnt gonna happen! My mom and SIL paid for it all...and the girls did the rest...so i wanted to give them something. I did cards but we had issues w/ the post office here and ALL of my cards with the exception of a few made it there...the rest were lost! I

i dont think it is necessary-but i have an idea, my mom had bought me and all the girs gift certificates to get manis and pedis. so we are all going to get our nails done together right b4 the wedding. cant wait!
maybe you can get them gift certificates...
