We're having a small wedding and I really don't feel it's necessary to have bridesmaids or a MOH. I know you have to have witnesses, but can't anyone that's attending the ceremony do that?

I don't think you have to have a MOH. I believe it's totally up to you. I'm having a MOH but no bridal party.

Not technically, but you do need someone to sign the marriage license - which is usually done by the MOH and BM

I believe anyone can wittness the marriage for the lic. You don't have to have a MOH.

I can't choose one particular person out of my bridal party (which I didn't want to have in the first place!) so I am making no distinction between any of them - they are all bridesmaids - no MOH.

you dont have to have a MOH if you dont want to..you do need witnesses to sign but thats it, its YOUR call
