Do I have to have a rehearsal dinner?

I am not having a rehearsal.

if you are not rehearsing then I dont think you NEED to have a dinner. Maybe you can just take your BM's out to lunch or to a spaday.

I don't think so. It might be nice to just get the wedding party together. I like the spa idea.

I did not have a rehersal OR a rehersal dinner... I did so because I had out of town bridal party members and it would have been a pain-in-the-rear.

I don't think it is necessary, but I want to ahve one, it makes me feel better to know that everyone knows what to do and where to be.

We are getting married at the hall and we're doing a quick run through a 1/2 hour before the ceremony. We aren't going to have a Rehersal dinner, since our bridal party and parents all know each other already. Also my FH is Jewish and Rehersal Dinners aren't traditionally done.
