What's the etiquettes of whether the bride should pay for the dresses, hair and make up for the bridesmade? Please advise

dress- no
hair and makeup- it depends most cases, no but if you specifically want them to use certain vendors and such, then yes

no on dresses. some choose to make a gift of paying for hair or makeup.

Agree with the other girls.
With me, I have two BM's that are flying internationally to be in our wedding, so my FH and I are paying for their dresses, shoes, makeup and hair. The other BM's paid for their dresses and shoes. I gave them the option to have their hair professionally done as well as the makeup. If they choose to do that, they pay for it.
BUT, if it was in our budget, then we would pay for all of it ......but it wasn't , so we aren't

No on dresses definitely. You can as part of their gift pay for hair and makeup but you are not obligated to do so

you dont have to pay for any of them.
if you do, then some people use it as a gift to their bridesmaids..but you are not obligated to do so
i am paying for the girls hair to be done..they bought their own dress..and the make up is entirely up to them if they want that done

You don't have to pay for the dress, but if you want them to use your vendor or go to a specific salon, then yes you could pay. My girls all volunteered for hair and make-up, but it might be a last minute gift!

U absolutely do not have to. It's your choice if you'd like to do any of those.

Dresses would be a definite no (unless you have a bunch of money to throw around)
As for makeup and hair, I think it depends. Some people do some people do not. I think I am going to let my girls get it done wherever they want so they do not have to spend a fortune using Mia.

that would be awfully nice of you! i say no to dresses, and you can if you want to pay for hair and makeup, i am not. i am paying partially for them to stay in a hotel room with me the night before....and of corse they are getting lots of goodies for their gift.
