Do I invite them to the wedding???? (long) NEED ADVICE!!!

I would invite them. Leave it up to them to decide whether they should come. I think they'll be thrilled that you've included them, and definitely not see it as an imposition. Since you've 'included' them in the planning all along, I think it's nice (and kind of expected) for you to invite them. JMO

I agree. I think you should invite them. If you have been discussing all of the wedding plans with them they are probably very excited for you and you know the old saying 'The more the merrier'

I am also doing a year long clerkship. I finish 8/15 & am getting married 8/31. I invited my co-clerk, who was a good friend from law school, and the Judge. Although I've talked about the wedding with the secretary, court reporter & deputy, I didn't invite them. I live in Chicago, and I knew it was highly unlikely any of them would come. The secretary even told me not to invite her b/c she wouldn't come!
I'm sure they don't expect to be invited. Invite them if it would make you more comfortable, but you have to be prepared that they might come.

As a side note, I send my invitations 3 weeks ago. Our response deadline is Friday. Yesterday I was cleaning out my desk & found the Judge's invitation buried under volumes of exhibits! I had brought it to work thinking I would give it to him in person & then forgot all about it! I had to go in today & basically tell him that I am a messy scatterbrain who can't even deliver an invitation to someone who works about 20 feet away!

Annie, I was almost in your shoes, except that I would continue seeing my coworkers (i.e. its a FT job, not a temporary one year clerkship). I chose to invite the 5 people who are in my immediate group. I don't socialize with anyone outside of work. Of those 5, only one couple came (a coworker and his wife).
