We're having about 130-140 guests at our wedding, do you think we'll need two photogaphers OR is one photographer enough?
How many photographer do you have coming at your wedding? How big is your wedding?

I like 2 photogs. theres way too much going on that can be missed. many photogs offer 2 w their packages.

I would do two if you can. I just went through some photographer drama...I could recommend someone to you if you'd like. He was so helpful to me and very reasonable. FM me if you want the info.

I am hoping to have around the same amount as you (140-150 max) and we have 2 photogs. Like Amy said, there is just way too much going on for pne photog to capture no matter how big or small your wedding is. While the main photog is taking those 'posed' pics with your BP, the other photog can be getting a different angle, or see something the other photog doesn't and capture if (Candid I feel are the best photos).

ITA with the other ladies. I wanted to have 2 photogs, but it's not absolutely necessary- I think you could do just fine with one and you never know, on the big day your photog might bring an assistant! With our photog's assistant, we actually had 3 that day! Look into Duet- two photogs are included in ALL their packages, that's who we used!
Also, so many people have digital cameras that you're going to have more photogs there than you can shake a stick at. I know their not PRO, but I was amazed (and so thankful for!) by some of the gorgeous pics my guests took! HTH!

My wedding will be about 100 people and we are having 2 photographers..but photos (next to the actual church) is the most important to me..those are the memories you have from that day
So I think it is up to you..1 photographer can probably cover it but if you can afford it I would go with 2

I had 300 people at my wedding, with one photographer and a helper ...he was great!

YES ABSOLUTELY!!! I look at it like this.. Picture your first dance, you need it photographed right.. but you want your families reactions photographed at the same time.

It's better to use 2 photographers because the 2nd one will be always ready to snap any pics if the 1st one is changing the lens or his camera, looking for something, or just distracted lol!

I'm def glad that I had 2 photographers. When there's that many people, there's so many things going on and you when the wedding is over, all you're going to want to do is look at the pictures. Def worth it!

We are having around 200 guests and we chose to get the 2nd photographer. I just feel like the 2nd perspective can capture additional photos that the main photographer can't.
For example (we are getting married in a church) I must have a frontal photo of my dad and me starting to walk down the aisle, so that was a must, but I also LOVE the photo from the back of the bride when she is about to walk down the aisle. Both of those views could only be captured if you have more than one photographer!
Also, throughout the reception, it allows one to focus on you and FH, while the other can get good shots of your guests having a good time. If it's in the budget, definitely go for 2 photographers!

I agree with everyone...in retrospect, I would have had two photogs. SO much more can be captrured that way...if it is in your budget, definitely do it!!!

Definately 2....you want the pics to be from diff angles. Ive been told that for weddings especially you want 2.

We are having 150 and I have 2 Photographers and 1 assistant...
