Do I need....

The cake server/cutter set?
FSIL bought us beautiful waterford crystal toasting flutes... (I really wanted the swarovski ones... and believe it or not I actually like hers better)... and so I was thinking of not even bothering with the cake cutter thing. I don't know though. what do you guys think?

You may want to ask your RH if they can supply them...otherwise...how will you cut into the cake?? lol. I'm holding off on them for me...I have a feeling my sister got the full set...since she gave me the flutes for the e-party...haha

I see most come in sets.. my toasting glasses dont.. bc they are waterford.... at least not to my knowledge anyway. That's why I didn't want to even bother with them - but I didn't know if we needed them... they seem like a waste.. you buy them just for this occasion then waht? you know? I guess I'll see how it goes later on. ha ha.

Well I know mine didn't come in a set so to speak, but they did have matching ones...And, I'll prolly still use them for their purpuse AFTER the wedding..whenever we have pie or cake I'll whip them out...What ELSE will I do with them?? LOL

You don't need them. I think they are nice to have. My mom bought us a kate spade set than lenox makes. She had engraved with our names and the date. We will use them after the wedding when we have company.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Yea you are right! But I mean the more 'wedding looking' ones... If i get a set.. i will get clear crystal handled ones I think.

You may get them as a gift. I know my FSIL got hers at her shower. I think they're nice to have and would try and use them after.

I'm going through the 'do I really need this' with so many things. I've been working on the registry since sunday night!
