My wedding is outdoors, do you suggest getting an aisle runner? My BM told me it's not really needed. What do you guys think.

I thought most places supplied these. I'd personally prefer to have one.

If you're going to be walking on grass then I think a runner just becomes a tripping hazard. I've been warned against them unless you're going to be on a hard surface.

I think it may be nice to have.. dress it up a little.
My limo company is providing ours because I didn't really want to spend the money on it even though they aren't that expensive.

This. My RH supplies one. Do you mean a personalized one?

Linda does JT provide a white runner or just that grey one I always see in pictures.

I'm not doing an aisle runner... I'm not sold on the neccessity, PLUS I agree with the above that it can be a tripping hazard, some churches don't allow them.
Unless you love it, save the money.

I am prob skipping this bc my ceremony is outdoors. If it's windy, I dont need it crumpling or blowing up.

Re: Do I need an aisle runner?
I will be getting married outside at a state park (in Massachusetts). I am not sure yet what I am allowed but I was thinking of getting rose petals on the aisle which I have seen pictures of.
Also, I plan on getting two metal stakes (Not sure what you call it!) that hang flowers and get married in between them. Because we are far away, I don't have the ability to plan an arch or anything like that and it's really expensive also.

I am getting married on the grass as well, and I am outlining the aisle with rose petals. I thought all the heels on the runner out on the grass, might be a disaster, but I love the way the runners look.
