You don't need an appointment. The shop is tiny and a real hole in the wall. The woman at C&H doesn't speak much english at all but she really does know what she is doing. Besides jennbaby, I am her #1 cheerleader. She did a great job with me. Bring a picture or your dress and styles of what you like (if you can) and she will help you out. She was pretty honest with me too...she told me to take things off that she thought wouldn't work with my dress. She will also customize what she has in the store. She customized mine with ivory pearls instead of white.

There are also a bunch of places around the corner from Lord and Taylor (so I guess between 5th and 6th). My friend got hers at one of them (sorry I can't be more specific).....

I went to C&H and ordered my tiara and veil from Kim. I have not seen the finished product, but she was great and I got a really good price. I did not think her English was an issue, I had no problem understanding her. Especially when she gave me the price

i've been to c&h twice already (looking) & i'm going back this weekend with my mom to 'hopefully' order my veil & tiara...

she's so nice and knows what she's talking about & has good ideas, etc....
