I don't think I need to do them. I'm also trying to cut corners so it's my cheap side talking now lol. If I send out my invites with enough time why would I need to have save the dates?

Well it's def. not as important as invitations but if there not in your budget then there not..It's about what you can afford and what matters most to you.

Re: Do I need to do Save the Dates??????
I bought mine from Vista Print and I only paid $21 and I got free shipping! I only had to buy like 40 of them so that helped though.

Re: Do I need to do Save the Dates??????
I've heard of people doing save the dates through e-mail to save money! Like an e-card, I guess! FH and I have friends who did it and it was very cute. I think they printed some out for older relatives who weren't so internet savy, but you could do a few on your home printer. I think if you need to use the funds elsewhere (like a videographer ) this is a great place to cut spending.

Re: Do I need to do Save the Dates??????
We don't have many out of town guests that need to 'prepare' themselves for our wedding date, so we opted out on save the dates. IMO, sending a formal invite months in advance is enough notice

We are doing save the dates bc we have family from out of state and our wedding is on a holiday weekend. If neither of these apply to you, then, IMO, you do not need them.

I was going to... but I don't think I am. Everyone already knows the date, don't worry about it at all.

Re: Do I need to do Save the Dates??????
The only reason I'm doing save the dates is bc my wedding date is on memorial day weekend and I don't want ppl to book vacations. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it & would have put the money somewhere else.
