I have 2 MOH someone told me i should have paid for their dresses.. I have never heard of that now i feel like a jerk if they were waiting for me to pay for them..
are you planning on getting them gifts? I would only pay for their dresses if your not buying them anything else.

that is asking a lot of you - by no means should they be expecting to have their dresses paid for
I will be very honest with you. Not until I have come on LIW have I EVER heard of paying for a BM dress - not even as a gift. My feeling is that if someone accepts the HONOR of being asked to be in a bridal party, then they need to be made aware of the expense and time commitment it takes to fulfill that honor. If they cant handle either one, then they should graciously decline. Unless that BP member is a minor and has no source of income, then nobody should expect a dress to be paid for.

i agree with leslie. and its funny b/c my fh thought we were supposted to pay for the dresses and tuxes. i set him straight very quickly
I have never heard of that. Maybe offere to pay for hair and/or make-up..but only if your not getting them anything else.
I have never heard of this before. Giving them a gift is one thing but I don't think we need to pay for their dresses.
I think most people dont pay for their BMs dresses.

I've been a MOH twice and each time I bought my own dress. Never heard of a bride paying for any of the bridal party dresses.
No you dont have to pay for them, but if you want that to be there gift then you can do that instead for jewlery
