Do I really need a limo just to go from the hotel to the ceremony/reception site. FH is most likely getting ready in Lindenhurst and I will prolly be at a hotel near WM with my BM's and mom. I'm just thinking it's not really worth the expense

im torn too. my hotel is 5 miles away from rh. then again i dont wanna squeeze into someones car and plus i thought i would wnat it for pictures.

We skipped the limos... It's an added expense, unless you absolutely need a way to transport your bridal party to and from church/pics/ or RH.

We originally were not going to get limos. We are getting ready in garden city and married in westbury but we decided we need a way to transport the bridal party. I also cant see myself getting in my truck with my big dress driving down the street so we got pick up and drop off service. I also got the rolls royce for FH and i to ride in to the RH. We are taking pics before the ceremony so it was no big deal to us. I have always wanted to ride in the rolls on my wedding day

You don't really need it if you're not going from a church to a RH... I think it becomes more essential when ceremony, RH and pictures are in different spots to coordinate everyone

i was actually thinking of the same thing... i'm getting married at the RH... so it's not like the normal ride where you take pics outside the church and get driven to the RH...
so i'm thinking if a limo is even necessary.... i was thinking about photo ops.. but eh.. i might just rent a really fancy car instead! lol

i mean, no you definately dont need it but are the bms going in a limo and you just are questioning if one is needed for you and your mom alone. if they already have a limo, then go with them, i did that and it was great. if they dont have a limo, do they all have transportation already? check first because if they are going to start having issues getting to the ceremony/rh for whatever reason, then it might just be worth it to get one for you and the girls.
if they are making do on their own, maybe just get a nice white town car or other car like a escalade or something. the cost of a pick up and drop off isnt huge for a car other than a limo
eta: im not one to just do things just for the sake of doing them but i have to say, having the limo definatley made me feel special that day. i prob wont ever get to ride in a limo again other than for other peoples bridal partys and then i would regret not having one for mine, just personally

I found a good price...$300 for 3.5 hours.. i figured for that price we dont need to go in the cars...JMHO

no I don't think you need them, you could put the money towards something else unless you want to take is just because it's your wedding..but you could def save the $

I kinda want them for photos but in the same sense it's not a big deal if I don't have it. To rent a limo for maybe a 10 minute ride is ridonkulous. Ugh! I'm just not sure. It'll come to me soon. Thanks for the input

Maybe find out a drop off price (or for an hour) this way you can take it..get married @ the RH then come out for pics if you really want those type of pics
