I don't have a set theme, but i do have a couple 'fall' things going on at my wedding.
It's the end of October, so there will be foliage in the pictures and all that junk.
I am giving out caramel apples as the main favor.
BUT We decided on Navy for the BP dress color.
Should we do fall colors for the invites or should they match the BP dresses? Is that necessary? FH says they don't have to match, but I am unsure. Thoughts?

Mine are matching only because I love the brown and green colors I settled on but I have gotten many invites that haven't so its 100% up to you. I can't wait to see your pics after we get married date twin!

i had this same prob......i really don't know lol but I don't think they HAVE to match at all..
BM will be iether chocolate with pink sashes or chocolate with ivory........
we kind of stuck to the theme for our invites....we are doing chocolate/ivory/copper....so no I don't think they have to necessarily match 100% but maybe somewhat close to what you are going for for the BM and your theme?

Mine are matching but that's pretty simple because it's black. LOL. But they definitely don't need to match. I can't imagine that anyone would come up to you the day of the wedding, invitation in hand, pitching a fit. LOL!
ETA: By the time the wedding rolls around, I've usually forgotten what the invites looked like!

i don't think they need to match.
however, i do believe that your invitation sets the tone of your wedding.
when people receive my invite i want them to know its a classy & elegant wedding & not a backyard BBQ.
it just so happens that our colors are black & ivory. but since we didn't pick flowers yet i guess those will be a big surprise

My friend who just got married had invites that were black and white, her BM dresses were fig. I did not even think about this until you asked the question.

I dont think most people will even notice that I don't. Its not like people show up to your reception with thier invitation and compare them with the BM dress colors and flower colors.
