has anyone used that carpeting from home depot that comes in squares that you just lay down on the floor? its a do-it-yourself carpeting & we'd like to use it in our basement. i'm wondering how difficult it is to install & how you lay it down on stairs.

I haven't used it, but they used on a recent episode of Trading Spaces. It looked easy.

Hi Steph! (hee hee)
Why don't you go to Home Depot or wherever you would buy the carpet squares and ask the people there about them. Shouldn't they be able to help you out?
I saw when they used them on Trading Spaces and thought it would be a good option in an apartment, since you can put them down and then just pull them up when you move.

We have it here in our office .Concidering the amount of traffic trough here ,it'sconstrution office .I'd say go for it. Easy to install, and cleans up well .This one has been down for over 3 years and no problems so far.
