Do it yourself centerpiece question

Do it yourself centerpiece question

Hi girls!

I am really leaning towards doing my own centerpieces. I thought about something simple like candles and silk rosepetals. Since the florist isn't providing the centerpieces, do you think the hall (fox hollow) would set them up for me?

i had the same idea - i never asked at fox hollow, but at swan club they told me i would have to have someone come in to set them up.

contact fox hollow and make sure they'll do it.
I was going to do my own and my hall said they'd do it, or i could have someone else do it for me.

I am making my own centerpieces with lamps and silk rose petals. My BM at Bridgeview sais he would set them up for me not problem. You will save so much money doing your own centerpieces. I have tons of ideas if you want some. good luck

If the hall agrees to do it for you, make sure you take pictures of how everythign is supposed to be set up... also get it in writing! you don't want to have a friend run to the hall and help set things up because the word didn't get passed around properly.

I was under the impression that halls will typically set out menus, placecards, and that kind of stuff, but something more intricate will have to be spelled out. However, I don't think its too much to ask and I could see them being accomodating if its nothing too complicated.
