Do-it-yourself flowers?

Do-it-yourself flowers?

Has anyone done their own flowers? I found a great site - www.growersbox.com - and am considering assigning my bridesmaids the duty of arranging mixed roses in small fish bowls. What do you think?

I am all in favor of doing your own centerpieces and bouquets it saves so much money.

i am going to be doing my own flowers as well. Actually my aunt is going to do them, but same thing!! There are a couple of things to keep in mind though:

1) wholesale places do not remove the thorns from roses
2) you need a place to store them, in water and cold, if you do them the day before
30 you should really have someone else do the set up besides you or BM on the day of wedding because you guys will be so busy and have so many other things on your mind.

As far as ordering flowers check out:

onlinewholesaleflowers.com

they seem to have the best prices.

good luck
