Me and FW decided we are going to do the invitations ourselves. Probably print them out on my computer with my laser.
Can somebody recommend a good invitation package I can buy that comes with everything I need to print out invitations (envelopes, inserts, etc.)

I know there are ones you can order from online sites - there are a couple of DIY ones at Michael's - they even have some fancier ones with ribbon and vellum overlays.

We got ours from staples...came with invites, response card and envelopes.

I just saw at AC Moore that they had some sets down the wedding aisle and on an endcap. I think the sets were like $20 maybe. Plus AC Moore has coupons like Michaels does and I am sure Michaels has them too. They are made by Wilton.
They had some really nice designs.
I mentioned them to my mom and she was sounding annoyed with my frugalness (is this a word??) with this wedding....
If I can save money I will. We will see when the time comes.
I have to agree AC Moore had the nicest ones I have seen so far.

Party City also had some really nice ones on sale a few weeks ago. It was a complete package.

I was loking at some catalogs I got throught the mail...and then at Staples...I'm wondering if printing our own will really save $?? What do you girls think?

I was thinking about doing my own invitations too. How long do you think it will take to make about 120 invitations? Do you think it is worth the time?

I know staples has a nice selection. I wanted to do them myself too but FH is insisting not too. He knows how I'm into details and it would drive him nuts! BUT I am planning on putting my own touches to them by doing either some wax stamp seal or some petals in the envelope.

My FW told me that even if you get invitations done... she said that a lot of times you have to do your own envelopes anyways.
I'm like if I have to do that.... i might as well do them all.
We only need 40 invitations... so its not that big a deal.

I think we've decided to make the invitations ourselves.. after doing a lot of looking online for the past 2 weeks...I found a site calledLCI Paper
I already got the samples I had ordered and am extremely pleased!! Just called them again yesterday for more samples and they were sooooo pleasant on the phone:) Good luck!
