do it yourself suggestions???

Reposting for more ideas. We're donating in lieu of favors, but i'd like to do something myself...little, inexpensive, but personable. any ideas?

We're doing the donation route ourselves...but I also wanted to maybe try and make something small ...something like the boxes with our monogram...

or maybe the beaded bag (they sell those anywhere) and just fill them with the almonds or whatever candy we choose

i've been to a wedding where the bride and groom donated money to the Lance Armstrong foundation and they gave us all the LIVE STRONG yellow bracelet

what about making 1 child's wish come true with the make-a-wish foundation?

or donating to Sept 11th-type of fund?

Is there something in your area? Like your high school--scholarship fund?

I am donating too but I am putting lavender into little favor bags and making potpourri bags to tie onto the donation scroll. I found the lavender in 5 pound bags on-line and the favor bags too. Now I just have to order it and make them!!! I also plan on using lavender as my throw at the wedding in lieu of rice or flower petals.
