I've seen a lot of posts about making your own menus. Is that the 'norm' or do the halls sometimes supply them.
I don't remember having a menu at any of the weddings that I've been to (not many...)

Re: do most brides make their own menus?
my hall is supplying them: the larkfield manor. you should ask them before you make any.

My hall is supposed to supply them. However, they did say it was on regular white cardstock, black lettering and one every other guest.
I may end up doing them myself, if I have any time left.

Some halls do supply them...mine did but only for the 'deluxe' menu which we didn't have, so I made my own.

I just printed mine out last night. I will cut them on my lunch hour with the big paper cutter today.

I think mine is supplying them, if not I'll make them. I think they are important, I've been to plenty of weddings where there werent menu's and I found it annoying
