Do most of the responses come after the RSVP date?
Our RSVP date is Oct 4th and we still haven't received half of them back. I'm wondering how everyone else did with theirs.

I am at 60% right now and my response date is Sept. 30th.

I got alot the week after the due date. We did have to call about 10 people though. I dont get it! What is so hard!

I know. Its so aggravating. The thing is stamped. All they have to do is make a decision and throw it in the mail.

My response date is Oct. 1 and I am about 60% too. I hope they all come in this week. I don't want to make all of those call!!

we had a lot of responses that just never came at all. Mostly on my husband's side and his mother didn't want to make the calls (they were mainly family friends I hadn't met yet). My mother had harassed everyone on our side before the rsvp date, so those were all in. We still had over 20 outstanding the week after the rsvp date.

I think most people do not understand the concept of 'Please RESPOND by XX' they think it means, 'when and if you get around to it can you please send this easy, pre-paid little card back to me so I know if you plan on coming, maybe, sorta'
I have 6 more days till my RSVP deadline and 50 out of 89 RSVP cards are still NOT returned.

we had to call a lot of people. Some said they were coming, others said they couldn't, others said they sent it and we never got it.
Unfortunately, you're going to have to call them....you'll get a lot of excuses!!!!

We mailed back a response to a friend's wedding right away but they said they never got it. They are so small, I believe that they could be stuck in a mailbox somewhere. I still don't see why its so difficult for people to just send the response back. That has to be the ultimate in lazy!
