I told my DJ that if he wants to see my head spin and have me breathe fire then go ahead and play a group dance song. NO Chicken Dance (even if FMIL insists it's a Polish wedding tradition), YMCA, chacha slide, Hands Up... there are more I just can't think of them...

If I hear Meatloaf's By the Dashboard Light come on I don't want to even think about what will happen...

I already told my DJ no chicken dance, electric slide, cotton eyed joe, macarena, YMCA, Grease master mix, and DEFINITELY ABSOLUTELY no conga line! My mother keeps fighting me on all this but I don't care, I'm standing my ground!

no Italian songs. (i am sure my parents & sister will be annoyed over that one but FH & I don't like them)
the only specific song i wrote down so far is 'Right Round' by Flo Rida. -i personally think its absolutely disgusting.

& no one is allowed to request songs, well they can request, the band is just not allowed to play any requests. my nephew will request something stupid & people will say oh how cute. this is a wedding for crying out loud!!

FH & FMIL are going to make up the play & do not play lists since they have excellent taste in music.

I like group dance, my friends and I look forward to the Electric Slide..lol..

My DJ is WestIndian and si is FH and I so I dont really have to give him a do not play list because he knows what WestIndians like..lol

The only thing that I will mention is no vulgar lyrics

These are all great lists and gives everyone a good idea of what they may or may not want.

Interesting how almost every song on everyones list is the same :)
