I'm trying to work on my music lists, I'm going to call the DJ tomorrow to see when I can get my appt, but I know there's music that I don't want played but for some reason I am drawing a blank. So please share yours.

Is there a particular artist you really don't like/brings up bad memories? I ask because I know that Kelly Clarkson's music - especially her first album - reminds my cousin of when my aunt passed away...her music was all over the radio at that time. So I'm asking the DJ to not play any Kelly Clarkson because of that. It wasn't a request of my cousin's for me to do that or anything; I just love my cousin and don't want her to think of anything sad that day.

I'm hoping for the same, LOL. I don't like Bon Jovi or Rod Stewart...unfortunately FH likes both. Rod Stewart is kinda creepy IMO, so if we have to compromise - which we will - I guess I'd rather have Bon Jovi played.

I agree with Rod Stewart But Bon Jovi is definitely on my must play list!!! Totally gets the crowd going. Guess I'm an 80's girl at heart

I watched the DVds from clips of past wedding that my DJ has done...when Bon Jovi is on..people are usually drunk with their ties around their head..using beer bottles as mics and looking welllllll entertained..so basically I am on the fence.
