Hot-line counseling on evenings/weekends
Provide a home for a pregnant woman
Typing and secretarial work
Assist with fund raising
Move baby furniture using your van
Repair cribs
Employment counseling
Teach parenting, Lamaze, or Bradley methods
Baby-sitting
Layette committee
Befriend a mom
Professionals: lawyers, doctors, accountants, and ultrasonic technicians
Assist with monthly mailings
Marketing, publicity, advertising

I will be calling them tomorrow and speaking with Margo. They have a new favility opening in Massapequa and have many group projects

wacky, i really wanna help out on this one too.
Im all for anything thats face to face with people. it just feels more satisfying than dropping off bags of clothes or food.

any of the 'people interaction' ones, count me in. support the preggo moms! great one!
teach parenting, that sounds like fun! any criteria needed? im a parent

speakers, etc.

i hope we can do something together!
maybe ONE HUGE parenting/venting/preggo moms and hubbies chat session??
but i want everyone to be able to help, even if youre not preggo (yet)

let us know how it goes when you speak to margo.

I used to Volunteer for the church, take people shopping, hand out holiday baskets

Youd be surprised how many lonely people are out there.

Hey Im on the phone right now with them. Oh they sound so amazing. This is something I would love to help out on.

The Director Margo said she would love to meet us.

Right now she said that they are in desperate need of baby toiletries. I was think maybe making little packages and we could distribute when we go there.

ARe we still collecting donations? Please ladies let me see who would like to join in our crusade?
