I definitly would not recommend them to anyone!! They manage their store in a very poor fashion. I purchased my dream dress there a year ago. I was told that when it came it I would recieve a call and I would go down to make sure it was ok. I checked in a couple of times but noone ever got back to me. So I started to get into panic mode and I called for a manager a few weeks ago and yet again...no call back. Finally, yesterday I got in touch with someone. They told me they called my cell phone, but come on we all know how unreliable cell phones can be. They had my house number why wouldnt they just call on both lines to make sure it got the message. That is if they did actually call!! I spoke with another manager today and she was the nastiest vendor I have dealt with throughout my entire wedding planning. She told me that 'she has so many brides that she cant keep track.'....yeah that would want to make someone go there. I dont know about you girls but I know the wedding industry is big on LI and that we arent the only ones getting married but I do know that when I am paying big bucks for something I do want to feel as if I am a priority. I am getting married in 3 weeks and she now expects me to go in for fittings and find the perfect shoes to go with what I thought was my perfect dress. 3 weeks ago, when panic mode started to set in a friend of mine talked me into going to buy another dress off the rack, not what I really wanted to do but was left with no other choice. Now that I have shoes, jewelry, and hair pieces to go with this other dress she expects me to purchase double of what I have already bought. This place stinks and I will do my best to spread the word. I have alot of friends that just got engaged so if any of you girls can recommend a good reliable place please let me know!!

i am so sorry you had to go through that, how awful! i got my dress there, and got a call as soon as my dress came in. i thankfully had no bad experiences with them.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with them. I'm thankfull that I found my dress elsewhere. I was not looking forward to dealing with their staff. They weren't very nice.

I don't understand. Why did you end up buying another dress? Because you thought that your dress wasn't ordered? Why didn't you drive over there to find out what was going on? I'm not defending them...I just am unclear as to why you bought a second dress.
Aside from that...I had a mixed experience there. I was pressured into buying a trunk show dress there b/c i would only be able to see/try on the dress that week and then they were sending it back. Everyone loved the dress on me. I even loved they way I looked in it, but I did not feel like a bride...more like a princess. I always dreamed of walking down the aisle in a big ballgown. This dress was like a beachy/goddess type dress. At any rate...the gave me a really hard time about getting my money back...they wanted to make a sale and said that they could give me a store credit, but that is not what i wanted. After pouring on the tears and b*tching about how i felt like my dreams were 'crushed' from buying that dress, they finally gave me my money back.

Before I went dress shopping, I checked them out on BBB and found out they have a few complaints One of my friends got her dress there and told me not to go there!! It's amazing...how do they stay in business with all these problems and such terrible customer service? Tell your friends to check out every vendor on BBB before they make any appts....
I bought my gown at Demetrios at Macy's Smith Haven and they were great. Nice, costomer-oriented and no issues.

i had a problem with them as well when i went there for a bridesmaid dress they were so nasty i left cryibg. so i decided i wa not going to get my alterations done there. when i went to pick the dress up they were so nasty they wouldnt take any payment but cash!!! My girls ordered there dresses in carle place and they all paid different ways!! they are unbelieveable!!
