Do people still order invitations from vendors ???

Do people still order invitations from vendors ???

I am thinking about becoming a dealer for some of the invitations companies - encore etc
but it is a huge initial investment.

I am not sure if it is worth it b/c while I will work from home and be able to offer a huge discount I notice many many brides ordering invitations online, making invitations themselves, and ordering from mail order catologs like preciouscollection.com

Any advice??

I ordered from a LIW vendor. IMO, it is so much better to see and touch the product all at once rather than order samples. Also, it's very helpful to have the vendor explain how to assemble them. And, there could be a spin-off of other products you could sell. I ended up ordering my place cards, menus and napkins from the lady I used.

Hm. Good question. I saw some on precious collection that I really liked, but am leary of ordering something so HUGE online. I think that many brides may feel better ordering from a respectable vendor (like you). .\JMO

I think a lot of girls are definitely not willing to order their invites online...so while this may be the way of the future, I think for the time being seeing and feeling a sample and speaking to someone should something go wrong is the way most girls do things. I personally ordered online...but I think I'm in the minority.
