we sent out the invitations formally of course, but do i have to make the seating cards fancy too? i don't really want to but i don't know if it's bad or something...
do i have to say 'mr. and mrs. joseph smith' or can i just say 'joe & linda smith'?

A few weddings I went to, they put nicknames instead of formal names.

We did formal for the invitations, but FH's Aunt Francis would be P.O.'ed if we put her full name and not Fran. We have casual families and it would just be weird if we did them formally.
