Yes they are. Can you imagine? We spend all of this money, then have to pay for our own plate!

After all this money we are spending, the least the RH could do is to put our dishes on the house! Sheesh!

Thank you! With us, we are one above our minimum! without us, we'd be one below!

Am I missing something? Shouldn't couples want to count toward the minimum? Then, fewer guests have to respond 'yes' to reach the minimum, resulting in two fewer meals to pay for.

that's my understanding as well, but what do they mean by having our meals 'on the house'? It's still technically not free because you're paying for each head, which includes FH and yourself, right?

In our situation, we are going WAY over our minimum so I'd like to not have to pay for OUR meals Or at least let ours be half price!

Re: Do the bride and Groom count towards the minimum?
We are going to be abover our minimum too, so it would be nice to get some sort of discount. Then I think about all the food and drink that is included in the price and I don't think it is so bad....if we went to a restaurant and ate and drank as much as we do at a wedding, it would cost us more than what we are paying per person!
Still it would be anice gesture for the RH to discount our plates....we never eat them anyway!!
