do the fathers tuxes have to match?

My dad owns his own tux, and I am almost positive he is going to want to wear his own, but my step-dad & FH's step-dad would have to rent tuxes for that day. Do they all have to match? Should they match their wives? Should they match the groomsmen? Thanks!

I personally don't think it matters. If your Dad already has a tux, I think he should wear it!

my father wore his own...I don't think it has to match.

My dad's tux is not going to be the same but my FFIL's is.

The fathers did not wear the same as the groomsman. They matched watever their significant other was wearing. That is what the tux place told us to do.

I think my dad may end up just wearing a nice suit. Which works for me.. it's soooooo Dad.

Out tux place told us that the father of the bride is really not apart of the Bridal Party, and does not have to match with the BP.
