When you enter into the church, are the GM standing in front by the altar with FH and the Best Man, or do they enter in pairs with the BMs? I think they exit the church in pairs, but it's been awhile since I've been to a wedding (and one with a bridal party at that!)
the weddings ive been to the gm's walked down with the bridesmaids it was only the best man and groom that stood at the altar...im thinking you could do it either way though
I've seen it both ways. In my brother's wedding my SIL wanted us to go alone because we spent so much time on ourselves, she wanted the focus on us completely (and then her!) Then we walked back with GMs afterthe ceremony. I think I might do that too.
i've seen it done both ways too. i was in a wedding last july where all the girls walked in separately, one of the gms met each of us at the end of the aisle, we bowed to the alter together then the girls went to the left, the gms went to the right... after the wedding each bm was paired with a gm.... i'm not sure how i'm gonna do it yet....
I've seen it a bunch of different ways. Personally, I think they should walk down, they're just as important as the BMs.
I think they should both walk down either together or separately. It just looks nicer to me. It's just a matter of preference.
