They are usually pretty cheap...I'm definitely doing them--you want the guys to stand out from everyone else, especially since a nice dark suit might not look super different from a tux...

is there a particular reason why you don't want them? I think they also help tie the GM to the BM, with their flowers matching....also helps dads stand out...

Re: Do the guys need boutineers at the wedding?
FH hates them and I dont care enough about them to make a big deal- but for some reason my mom really likes them- so if she wants to pay for them we'll do them- otherwise, I am all for cutting them out & saving a little $$

You don't have to get them. The GMs can look different in their tuxes by using a colored vest underneath.

we're not doing it. They get smushed the first time the guys hug anyone. We're using pocket hankerchiefs instead.

Re: Do the guys need boutineers at the wedding?
If I could go back I might nix the bouts. for the guys. I got 13 of them, so at 10 bucks a pop, it did add up. I also really didn't think it made such a drastic impact on the wedding. A nice silk pocket hankie can be rally nice too.
