Do the RH direction cards have to be from the church?
my RH venue offers direction cards from the major express/parkways for invitation inserts...
do you think it's a big deal that the directions to the RH don't start from the church but from the major roads? my church is a bit inland from the LIE in great neck and i'm worried people won't be able to find their way back to the LIE.
i could totally be paranoid and overanalyzing this but it's driving me nuts...!

Just a suggestion, but you can always get custom made directional cards that have directions to the church and RH.
ETP - Although it didnt scan well, I got mine fairly cheap from an ebay seller. She put the church, reception hall and two hotels I was using.

I'm including the RH direction cards in the invitations and printing separate non-formal directions from the church to the RH for my ushers to give to guests who may have forgotten the directions in the first place, or who just aren't completely sure how to go.

It is helpful to give them directions to the rh from the church - many might not be familiar with where they are. I bought quality card stock and made my own to put in the invite.

me too...and also put directions to church from our hotel block....
I know this might seem weird but it's the DIY I am most proud of---even though it looked simple it took a lot of work but turned out great.

We are going to print directions on the back of the program from the church to the reception site.
